Our Trustees
Moira Maguire
Moira is the Chair of the Gestalt Centre Trustees Board. Has held a variety of executive and non-executive roles in pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and financial services throughout her corporate career. Moira brings HR, business and management experience and expertise to the GC Board and the organisation. Moira’s first voluntary role was in the education sector, at the Bridge Academy in Hackney. This was the flagship UBS CSR project at the time, with the academy offering its first student intake in 2007 and bank employees volunteering to support their training.
Alongside her Trustee and Chair roles at the Gestalt Centre, Moira is Chair of Trustees at Help Counselling, a charity dedicated to supporting mental health and reducing health inequalities in West London by offering low cost counselling to the local communities. Moira is also a non-executive advisor at the University of St Andrews (MA Modern History, class of 1983) with a remit covering Remuneration, People and Diversity.
Meri Jimenez
Meri is a communications and marketing leader with over 17 years’ experience helping purpose-led organisations tell their stories with clarity, confidence and heart. She specialises in building brands that feel authentic and connected to the communities they support, combining strategic thinking with creative storytelling to grow awareness, trust and impact. She cares about the power of thoughtful communication to build understanding and bring people together. Meri brings her experience in brand management, strategy and stakeholder engagement, alongside a genuine belief in the importance of spaces that support reflection, growth and human connection.
Giulia Rosato
Giulia Rosato is the Treasurer Trustee of the Gestalt Centre Board. She is currently Head of Financial Control at the Principles for Responsible Investment and serves as an Industrial Professor at the UCL Institute of Finance and Technology, where she teaches Social Entrepreneurship. A CIMA-qualified finance professional, Giulia holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Bocconi University and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford. Her work sits at the intersection of finance, impact and innovation.
She brings extensive international experience, having lived and worked across Hong Kong, the United States, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Previously, she was CFO of Endelea, an ethical fashion B Corp operating between Italy and Tanzania, and founded Impact2Bee, an initiative promoting social impact and governance themes. She also serves as a Board Trustee and Finance Committee member of a specialist Multi-Academy Trust.
Carla Jauregui
Carla is a fundraising professional with extensive experience in Trusts and Foundations fundraising for international projects – over the last 30 years. Carla has lived and worked in the UK, Ghana, and Burkina Faso and travelled extensively in the Africa region. Most recently Carla has worked as a fundraising consultant supporting charities and other non-governmental organisations to develop fundraising proposals and strategies. She has also supported teams and organisations to develop fundraising capacity through both training and mentoring. Currently she works as Head of Fundraising at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.
Paula Peden
Paula Peden is an Integrative Counsellor, Therapeutic Coach and educator with experience across counselling, coaching, higher education and business leadership. Following a career in finance and senior management, she retrained as a counsellor and now works with adults and young people in private practice and community settings. Paula is particularly interested in the role that relationships, self-awareness and meaningful dialogue play in supporting change and wellbeing. Alongside her therapeutic work, she brings experience in governance, finance and organisational leadership. As a Trustee, she is committed to supporting the Gestalt Centre’s ongoing development as a welcoming and accessible place for learning, growth and therapeutic practice.
Belvin M Tawuya
Belvin is a senior strategic communications professional with more than 15 years’ executive experience across the UK charity and cultural sectors. His career spans across digital media and broadcasting, financial services and public relations. Belvin is an experienced Trustee and active Non-Executive Director at Do It Now Now, an open- innovation organisation committed to the empowerment of Black people through financial inclusion and entrepreneurship.
Belvin brings strategic insight, communications expertise and a practical understanding of organisational growth. He is involved in African diaspora communities in the UK and leads a social enterprise focused on empowering young people and celebrating cultural heritage. Belvin is passionate about helping purpose-driven organisations sharpen their value proposition, communicate their mission and build the partnerships for long-term sustainability.
