Jarek Machowski is a graduate of the Gestalt Centre and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). While people come to counselling with a wide range of concerns, Jarek often finds himself working with those navigating life transitions, feeling stuck, or experiencing a sense of dissatisfaction with their lives. My approach to counselling is support, and growth come through exploring our relationships and how we make sense of our world. In exploring relationships, we look at what helps you and how you may have become used to responding in ways that no longer feel right. Sometimes approaches to dealing with situations can become fixed, leading to beliefs about ourselves and others that get in the way of being understood or finding what we want in life.
